Biospotix ampule za bolhe delujejo na osnovi aktivne sestavine geraniol, ki učinkovito dehidrira hitin (hitin je glavni sestavni del celičnih sten, eksoskeletov žuželk in členonožcev) * in blokira dihalni sistem žuželk. Paraziti se nato odvrnejo z zadušitvijo in dehidracijo, plinska faza geraniola pa pomaga tudi pri dehidriranju jajc in ličink, kar daje Biospotix ampulam za pse odlične ovicidne in larvicidne lastnosti.
