Yes, Živalnik.si supports pedigree breeding, which is why we allow free publication of classified ads for pedigree litters or puppies from verified breeders. To get Verified Breeder status, simply upload all required documents such as Kennel Certificate, Male Pedigree and Female Pedigree and post your pedigree puppy classified ads for free.

The publication of all ads of animals, which refer to the category »Without Pedigree«, are of a paid nature, in accordance with the advertising price list published each time for this part. The list of paid categories or subcategories applies only to physical users, which is not relevant for the owners of Živalnik.si Pets Marketplace online stores. The advertising price list is available here.

Živalnik.si is not only an advertisement for animals, but also includes an »eShop Marketplace«. This special section is for trading between individuals and companies. In addition to classified ads from the »Animals« category, here on Živalnik.si Marketplace you can find a wide range of products in the categories »Equipment«, »Food«, and »Services for animals«. Here you can check the current offer of Slovenian online stores and other sellers who advertise their products on the Živalnik.si Marketplace.

You can choose between new or used products on the Živalnik.si Marketplace and communicate directly with sellers. Check the complete range of e-commerce products here.

If you want to order a product or service that you are viewing on the Živalnik.si Pets Marketplace, follow these steps:

On our platform, you will find a special »Verified Breeder« badge on all verified breeders and their classified ads: This means that they have a valid kennel or cattery certificate uploaded within their profile and this has been checked and confirmed by the Živalnik editors. In this way, we ensure a safe and reliable choice when looking for a new family member.

On Živalnik.si Pets Marketplace, we have enabled »Chat functionality (message system)« for all registered users of the platform. Via Chat, two-way communication is established directly between buyers, sellers, breeders and other participants. This functionality enables an easy flow of messages to resolve questions and agreements between sellers and interested buyers. The messages are intended for all open questions and negotiations that arise between the seller and the interested party or to buyers.

Of course! Our community also extends to the »Živalnik Forum«, where animal lovers connect and exchange experiences and advice. The forum is intended for all users who want to share their experiences, offer mutual advice and discuss all aspects of pet care.

Yes, at Živalnik.si Pets Marketplace we try to ensure »multilingualism and regional accessibility«. Our platform is available in multiple language versions, allowing for a better understanding and customization of the user experience based on different language and regional preferences.

Regardless of whether you are a general user or a legal entity, registration and related use of the Živalnik.si online platform is completely free. This free registration includes the basic functionality of using the website.

Certain additional functionalities are available by upgrading the user profile package or by individually leasing the desired additional exposures or Živalnik's advertising products, which are available through the advertising offer on the separate »Živalnik shop« subpage - here.

Due to the nature of the activity they perform, registration for shelters / associations is free, as well as all other functionalities available on the Živalnik website. Therefore, this type of user does not have any restrictions regarding the use of the functionalities offered on the Živalnik platform.

By registering on Živalnik.si Pets Marketplace, you will become part of the largest and fastest growing online platform for pets in the Adriatic region! The following types of users can register on the Živalnik website:

User type: General user or Seller

• General user (Physical person);
• General user (Breeder); This is a natural person who has a registered activity and who creates a user account on the website Živalnik, with the purpose of advertising and selling pets.

User type: Legal entity or Online merchant (also »Seller«)

• Legal entity (Online retailer or provider with its own online store); It is a legal entity, independent entrepreneur or a natural person with registered personal supplementary work who creates a user account on the Živalnik website with the aim of advertising and selling their own goods and services.
• Legal entity (Shelter, Society or Club)

Yes, submitting an ad requires logging into a user profile, which requires prior registration. Users can register as a »general user« or as a »legal entity«.

Yes, after registration and profile activation, all entered data can be changed at any time, except for the username. The user has the option to change the public visibility of his personal data from the »user profile (dashboard)« at any time.

Yes, registered users have the option to delete their profile. The deletion process is carried out by the user logging into his Živalnik user profile at www.zivalnik.si and selecting the »Delete profile (Cancel registration)« option within the control panel.

Manually deleting a profile also means deleting all related ads and content. It also stops receiving notifications intended for users.

The publication of all classified ads of animals in the »No pedigree« category is paid. This applies to ads that do not include pedigree information. The Živalnik platform has a system that allows the user to enter certain data to confirm that it is a pedigree representative of a certain breed.

In the case of pedigree animals, the publication of the ad is free, as Živalnik 100% supports pedigree animal breeding.

Important news and information for breeders!

Živalnik supports pedigree breeding, so we are introducing free classified ads for pedigree litters or puppies from verified breeders. Get the status of a verified breeder, upload the required documents and post your classified ads for pedigree puppies for free.

Required documents for free ad publication:

• Breeding permit (registered kennel or cattery card),
• Pedigree of the male (Father),
• Pedigree of the female (Mother).

The advertising price list for paid categories is available here.

All classified ads for general users in the free version published on the Živalnik.si website are valid for »30 days from the date of publication«. After the expiration of the 30-day validity period, the published ad is automatically withdrawn and is no longer visible on the website. The user can extend an inactive ad at any time, i.e. its validity or public visibility through user profile.

General users in the paid version have the option of independently selecting the »time validity of the published ad« during the ad submission process. 

Small ads of legal entities or online retailers »do not have a time component« and are visible on the Živalnik website as long as the relevant legal entity or the online retailer does not change this in its control panel (»My ads«), which is accessible to all logged-in users in the user dashboard profile.

As part of the completed registration, regardless of the chosen type of user, to a profile is »automatically assigned a free package« that ensures uninterrupted use of the Živalnik.si website in accordance with a certain set of functionalities that are available or reachable as part of the free package. (except for »Shelters and Associations«)

Certain additional functionalities are only accessible by »using the upgraded package« of the user's profile or by individually leasing the desired additional exposures or Živalnik's advertising products, which are available through the advertising offer on the separate »Živalnik Shop« subpage.

As part of the registration process (form), each user has the option to change their free package to a paid one or upgrade it later, within their control panel (dahboard), which is visible after the user logs in to their user account.

Therefore, any user on the Živanik website can access additional functionalities in two ways, for a fee:

1. Upgrading a free package to a selected paid package (upgraded package) or
2. Individual purchase of the desired Živalnik's product of additional advertising, which is available as part of the advertising offer to all users on the separate »Živalnik Shop« subpage.

Every registered and logged-in user has access to the control panel (dashboard) in their user profile, where they can perform various activities and manage the published offer.

Actions of the administrator: The administrator ensures smooth communication and helps users to use the Živalnik Forum. If necessary, the administrator can change, lock and/or hide messages with inappropriate content or offensive comments for reading, without giving reasons.
